Maternity Portraits

Recently I have been photographing expectant mothers for my portfolio. I love working with pregnant women. The sense of promise and expectation is both emotional and exhilarating for me.

These images are from a sitting with Amanda, who is going to allow me to photograph her at different stages of her pregnancy . It's a wonderful opportunity for me, as I love being able to work with a model more than once and develop a deeper relationship through our photographs.

Christi and Doug

I don't photograph weddings very often, although when I do I usually enjoy the experience. Recently, Christi and Doug allowed me to be a part of their special day. It was a beautiful and moving ceremony that had me almost as emotional as the happy couple!

Busy, busy

I am pretty busy getting ready for the grand opening, and all the other stuff that comes with being a business owner! Things are going great. I've been working on a series of maternity portraits that have really been a lot of fun to do. I've met some great ladies, and seen some fabulous bellies!

I promise to post some images soon. I've had several shoots lately, including one for the Heart Gallery with NCKids. I don't think I can post any of those images due to privacy issues, but I absolutely loved doing it. I will post an update on my kid if I hear anything else.

Old Salem Shoot

A couple of weekends ago, I got to go to Old Salem to take pictures of a beautiful little girl. Audrey, her mom, my little one, and I all had a great time running around the area getting gorgeous shots!
